Biliary colic

The gallbladder is a common symptom caused by a gall bladder infection, or gallstones. Acupressure, by a family member or the patient himself is used mainly in cases of colic due to chronic cholecystitis. The colic usually happens through a blockage of the bile duct with impaired bile secretion or by a spasm of the bile duct with acute expansion due to fatty food or an advanced mucosal inflammation of the gallbladder.
